Arrival & Getting Here
How do I get there?
Most guests fly into Ted Stevens Anchorage (ANC) and drive south on the Seward Highway — about 2.5 hours of one of America's most beautiful drives. We can also arrange floatplane arrival directly to the dock.
What's the nearest airport?
Anchorage (ANC) is the international gateway. Kenai Municipal (ENA) is closer (~30 minutes) and served by daily Ravn Alaska flights.
Can you arrange transportation?
Yes. We can book a private SUV, an Alaska-experienced driver, or a floatplane transfer. We'll send your itinerary before arrival.
Is there parking on site?
A covered private parking pad for two vehicles, plus space for a guide truck during fishing days.
The Property
How many guests can stay?
The cabin sleeps up to eight across four master suites. Rates are for whole-property exclusive use.
Are children welcome?
Absolutely. We'll prep the cabin with a crib, high chair, kid life jackets, and a kid's pantry on request.
Are pets allowed?
We don't host pets, both for property care and for the wildlife that shares our shoreline.
Do you have internet?
Yes — full-property Starlink. Reliable enough for video calls, intentionally easy to ignore.
Is there cell service?
Spotty. Verizon works occasionally on the deck. Wi-Fi calling is your friend.
Wildlife & Safety
Are there bears?
Yes — black and brown bears live on the peninsula. We brief you on safe practices, store food properly, and provide bear spray for hikes.
Is it safe for kids?
Yes, with the same common sense any wilderness property requires. The dock is fenced; life jackets sized for children are provided.
What about weather?
Summer days run 55–75°F; winter nights can fall below 0°F. Layers always. We provide rain shells and Xtratuf boots in every size.
Activities
Do I need a fishing license?
Yes. Alaska resident and non-resident licenses can be purchased online before arrival; we'll send a link with your confirmation.
Can a chef be arranged?
Yes — a private chef can join for select dinners or your full stay. We work with two locally based chefs we trust.
Can we see northern lights?
From late August through April, conditions permitting. We send aurora alerts to your room when KP is forecast above 3.
What about groceries?
We pre-stock based on a questionnaire sent ahead of arrival, and a full Safeway is 35 minutes away if you'd like to do your own shopping.

How do I book?
Send an inquiry through our contact form. We respond within 24 hours with availability and a tailored quote.
What's the cancellation policy?
Full refund 90+ days before arrival; 50% refund 60–89 days; non-refundable inside 60 days. We recommend trip insurance for remote travel.
Do you accommodate special occasions?
Honeymoons, anniversaries, milestone birthdays, intimate weddings — yes. Tell us what we're celebrating.
