Since the lodge is located in the fly-in only Skwentna / Lake Creek wilderness, there are no roads. We arrange private charter floatplanes from Lake Hood in Anchorage directly to our cabin dock (45 minutes flight time).

Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) is your arrival gateway. From there, we transfer you to Lake Hood for the flight to Skwentna.

Yes. We handle all shuttle transfers between Anchorage International and Lake Hood, plus the floatplane charters directly to the dock.

No. The cabin is fly-in only with no road access. All travel is via floatplane, helicopter, or boat.

The cabin sleeps up to eight across four master suites. Rates are for whole-property exclusive use.

Absolutely. We'll prep the cabin with a crib, high chair, kid life jackets, and a kid's pantry on request.

We don't host pets, both for property care and for the wildlife that shares our shoreline.

Yes — full-property Starlink satellite internet. Reliable enough for video calls, intentionally easy to ignore.

None. Cellular signals do not reach this part of the wilderness. However, Starlink Wi-Fi calling is fully supported.

Yes — grizzly and black bears live in the Lake Creek region. We brief you on safe practices, store food properly, and provide bear spray for hikes.

Yes, with the same common sense any wilderness property requires. The dock is fenced; life jackets sized for children are provided.

Summer days run 55–75°F; winter nights can fall below 0°F. Layers always. We provide rain shells and Xtratuf boots in every size.

Yes. Alaska resident and non-resident licenses can be purchased online before arrival; we'll send a link with your confirmation.

Yes — a private chef can join for select dinners or your full stay. All gourmet ingredients are flown in with the chef.

The cabin is fly-in only with no local grocery stores. We pre-stock the pantry and fridge based on a preferences questionnaire sent ahead of arrival.
